Can illuminated letters be used outdoors? Are they waterproof?

A: Our standard outdoor models feature waterproofed internal LED light sources and sealed enclosures, making them fully functional in normal rainy conditions. However, we do not recommend prolonged submersion in water. Please note that our indoor models are not waterproof and are strictly for indoor installation.

What is the typical warranty period for illuminated letters? Are they easy to repair if they break?

A: The standard warranty is 1-2 years for the light source and 3-5 years for the outer shell and face panels. Most failures are caused by light source damage, which doesn't require dismantling the entire sign. The LED modules can be replaced directly, making maintenance very simple.

What is the typical thickness for illuminated letters? Is thicker always better?

A: The common thickness is 25-30mm for borderless letters, 12-18mm for mini letters, and 30-35mm for super letters. Thicker is not always better; you just need to choose the appropriate thickness based on the font strokes and the installation scenario.

What light colors are available for illuminated letters? Can they change colors?

A: We offer standard colors including cool white, warm white, yellow, red, and blue. Regular single-color illuminated letters are fixed to one specific color. If you want color-changing (RGB) effects, an additional RGB controller is required, which will increase the overall cost.

Is there an extra charge for installing illuminated letters? Are power cables included?

A: The product itself comes with internal light sources and basic wiring. However, it does not include installation accessories, external cables, or transformers. Installation fees are calculated separately based on the wall type and height at the site.

Is the daytime color of the letters the same as the illuminated color at night?

A: Not necessarily. The color of the acrylic face panel determines the daytime appearance, while the nighttime effect is determined by the light shining through. We can match the day and night colors, or create a dual-color effect with one color during the day and a different illuminated effect at night.

Can illuminated letters be directly screwed into the wall? What types of walls are suitable for installation?

A: Brick, concrete, and wood board walls can be directly installed using screws. For glass and tiled walls, specialized expansion anchors are required. If the wall is hollow, please inform us in advance so we can provide a reinforcement plan.
